Do You Need Some You-Time?
Hello my Hope-Full friends!
Confession: I have been exhausted the last few weeks. I can only juggle so many things for so long before I start to drop things. Usually I do pretty well, but I hit a wall mid-September and chose to take some “me-time” so I could get myself back together.
Have you ever had that happen to you? Have you ever been so tired you can’t take on one more thing? Maybe you need a break, like I do.
Resources for Weary Times
In this podcast I share some stories, challenges and Bible-based solutions I have found while researching and applying how to better take care of myself. One of my favorite tips is to claim the power of angels. Check out the rest here: 7 Bible Principles to Remember When You’re Weary. You can watch it on YouTube here.
Coree hit rock bottom after several divorces and finally realized she needed to do some healing with God so she could be whole. In this episodes she shares over 14 tips to help divorcees heal. Check it out at Coree Sullivan: Don’t Just Rebound After Divorce! Heal & Thrive!. You can watch it on YouTube here.
During the pandemic I had another broken day and I blogged about it here, I'm in my Pajamas and I'm Broken. I also talked about what Id id to get myself puled back together.
Need a gift for a weary friend? Check out my award-winning booklet, A Mother’s Mite (you can listen to the story here). Sarah, a young mother with 3 children is so tired she cries herself to sleep while rocking her baby and has a miraculous dream as she watches a widow give her last two mites. Buy one, 5, 10, or more than 20 as gifts on my website here.
So, if you are weary and worn, remember you aren’t alone. God sees you and knows where you are and what you are experiencing. Like me, you may choose to turn to Him in your times of exhaustion for strength to keep going.
I love the promise from Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
You are loved! You can keep going. Just take it one day at at time.
Hope on!
