Are you going Coronavirus crazy like I am right now? It's so hard to be cooped up all the time. I'm going to give you two quick tips that will help you get through this Coronavirus craziness.

First of all, a little introduction. My name is Tamara K Anderson. I'm an author, podcaster and a speaker. And I learned a little bit about living through crazy when I raised four of my children, two of which were on the autism spectrum. And I had to live in survival mode with constant and chronic stress for over 10 years. And so I learned just a little bit about managing stress.

First tip, you need to connect with God or your deity or your higher power every day. When you're in chronic stress, you often feel so overwhelmed like, I can't do this anymore. I'm so at my wit's end. And at those times, it's good to tap into something that is stronger and better than your own self. And so, first tip is connect with your higher power every day, you need to fill your bucket so that you can then survive any stressful situation. That may look like prayer or meditation. It may look like scripture study. Maybe you connect through singing, but do something every day to connect to your higher power because then you're not relying just on your own strength to get through this Coronavirus. Crazy.

The second thing I want to teach you about is the importance of taking time for yourself to do stress relievers. For example, exercising, journaling, taking a nap, reading a book, doing some creative activity I noticed with me just in this past week, I reached a day where I felt like I was a jumble of nerves inside like I was so stir crazy. And so my husband and I went on a walk and I vented to him and I as I was walking by the time we got home, I felt a lot better. And so I was incorporating two of those things in that walk physical exercise and venting to someone you can vent to a friend through a phone call. You can you can journal about stress. I've done that as well this week.

And so I've had to incorporate all of these stress relievers, to help me get through this stressful time. If you're looking for a list, Googled stress relievers online, I've also taken the time to pray and ask God to help me get through it. He's even given me ideas as I prayed of things that I can do not only to help myself but to help my children as well.

So my invitation to you is connect with God daily in some little way and find a stress reliever that works for you and incorporate them into your daily routine and you will get through the Coronavirus I promise you will hang in there my friends and hope on are you going
